Hmm... I was looking at the category dropdown menu for quite some time. I wasn't too sure to put this post under which category (film or music). Was to talk mainly about my experience downloading one of their concert recently via BitComet, but later thought that it would be better to have a wider topic to introduce more about this band. Therefore, I chose music instead of film, where I think more than half of my blog's post goes to.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers are a California-based rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1983. Even though they have experienced numerous line-up changes and personal problems, the band has successfully created a sound that combines elements of funk, punk, rap, psychedelic rock and lately pop rock. Over the past 23 years, they have produced nine studio albums which have sold nearly 50 million copies worldwide. Gezz... After finished typing the introduction, now I feel kinda lazy to begin my so-called wonderful experience pulak. I started my random search for Red Hot Chili Peppers live concert last Tuesday midnight when I returned home after my Penang one day trip. (Oh yea, I almost forget about this important announcement. Dear fellow friends, I've bought my 200G external harddisk last week! Which means, I can get back into the hyper mood downloading great stuffs again. Ahem, you certainly understand what I meant by great stuffs right? Bwahahaha.) Then I found this video entitled "LIVE at BBC Secret Concert Red Hot Chili Peppers 28.05.06". It sounded very interesting to me as it was a very recent concert I supposed. So, without hesitating much time, I clicked and started downloading it.
After four days...
Bloody hell tmnut tortures my body and soul, both physically and psychologically, by keeping me waited for so long. But when I was chatting online with my dear yesterday night at around 4:30 AM, suddenly a small notification window poped up and I was like, weeeee, surprisingly, my download has finally been completed without me actually realising it. Had a quick glance through the two VOB files immediately, both video and audio qualities were far above average, very satisfying indeed. And as usual, I have to rename every single file of mine before moving it into my favourite collections folder.
Looking under Google search, I found this review and was about to rename my file "Red Hot Chili Peppers Live At Canvas (14th April 2006)" according to this result. But why is it 14th of April? Not 28th of May? And when I browsed through the photos in their website, the stage setups and most of the costumes were almost the same, but why is Flea topless when in the concert video I watched he was wearing a long sleeve tee? Then later after searching for a few hours again, I only discovered that Red Hot Chili Peppers had actually played in the same venue in two continuous days (without changing clothes). So, in conclusion, mine is the show on the 15th of April. Am I right? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

It was a busy morning, approximately 8:30am, when an elderly gentleman in his 80's arrived to have stitches removed from his thumb. He stated that he was in a hurry as he had an appoinment at 9:00am. I took his vital signs and had him take a seat, knowing it would be over an hour before someone would be able to see him. I saw him looking repeatedly at his watch and decided, since I was not busy with another patient, I would evaluate his wound.
On examination, it was well-healed, so I talked to one of the doctors, got the needed supplies to remove his stitches and redressed his wound. While taking care of his wound, we began to engage in conversation. I asked him if he had an important appoinment that morning, as he seemed to be in such a hurry. The gentleman told me no, that he only needed to go to the nursing home to eat breakfast with his wife. I then inquired as to her health. He told me that she has been there for a while already and that she was a victim of Alzheimer Disease.
As we talked, and I finished dressing his wound, I asked if she would be worried if he was a bit late. He replied that she no longer knew who he was, that she had not recognized him for five years now. I was surprised, and ask him. "And you still go every morning, even though she doesn't know who you are?" He smiled as he patted my head and said: "She doesn't know me, but I still know who she is." I had to hold back my tears as he left. I had goose bumps on my arm, and thought: "That is the kind of love I want in my life."
True love is neither physical, nor romantic. True love is an acceptance of all that is, has been, will be, and will not be.
The happiest of people don't necessarily have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything that comes along their way.

此时此刻的大家，大部分都是疯着足球世界杯的心情吧？在家乡享受着短暂假期的我，无所事事上网又没人陪我聊天，所以就自己四处到各网页逛逛。
不知怎么的，我突然来到了百度，也不知怎么的，我键入了红红的太阳这五个字。心里没抱着太大的期望能够寻获，但也却不停默许着能够给我下载到。等待了大约0.05秒，终于显示了我的搜索结果，请点击左图放大欣赏。心想这下事情好像不太妙，什么一大堆有的没的小小羊儿要回家儿歌都出来了。眼睛瞪着首两个歌曲名好一阵子，没歌手名，没专辑名，也没歌词，到底是还是不是呢？笨蛋想那么多干嘛，不试又怎么会知道，我个人比较喜欢mp3格式，所以就毫不犹豫先选择了第二个，打开Gigaget开始迅速下载。
叮！是下载完毕的警惕声。这回我不懂为什么，打开Winamp要先试听时，心跳似乎开始不平凡地跳动。哦？我紧张？当时候很搞笑的情况是，我用手把头伏在桌子上轻盖着耳朵，好像癌症病人等着领化验报告时那种不敢面对事实的心情，不停祈祷一定要是对的歌一定要是对的歌。耳熟的前奏开始微微响起时，我兴奋得真差点大声喊了出来。我可以想像到吉华国中草场上，吉圣大大小小会员们开心地围着营火，摊开双手要开始学会飞翔的情景，所有烦恼在刹那间都抛到九霄云外去。癌症病人得知自己的肿瘤是良性的，难以压抑心中的快乐流出喜悦的眼泪，正是我脸上那几小滴眼泪的说明。
吉圣－吉华国中圣约翰救伤队！一个曾经陪伴我五年国中时光的制服团体，一个将永远继续陪伴我下去的温馨大家庭。或许如今相隔了几年，许多事情都必须改变了，甚至当初你我都以为是最坚固的友情。朋友，如果你还记得我，我知道这篇废话你不会读，不过我想告诉你，我始终没忘记过你，还有那年的叙别会你所说的话。好多趟我重返校园都没机会遇着你，就算见面了我们也变得逐渐生疏，我甚至连上前打个招呼的勇气也没有。也不能怪任何人，只能怪我自己，是我当年违背了我们之间的诺言，没和你一起共同实现梦想。
突然之间也不懂为何会写到这里，原先根本没预料这篇废话会如此进展，一切乃随着心情很自然地发展。至于其他本来打算想分享的精彩故事，也就只好有待下次再继续了。心口一酸，灵感也都走了；人仍然留着，吉圣之火也还在燃烧。

Weeeee... Am into the hyper mood downloading great stuffs from internet recently. Mind you, I'm NOT a porn downloader, kakaka. Very happy upgrading my beloved laptop with lots of cool music softwares and videos. But now, no more, sob. My windows kept giving me warning that my local hard dick disk is out of space. Fine then, I will have to wait until I buy my external harddisk at Lowyat on the 7th of June. So, since I got nothing better to do, can't download, I will upload instead.

Weeeee... I've been sitting right here in front of my beloved laptop for more than 24 hours, and yes you are right, the time for me to eat sleep crap walk has been excluded. Kakaka. My friends who don't understand me at all always like to ask, why am I so free to surf endless stuffs from the internet. I don't know how to answer cause me myself also didn't realise time was flying so fast, I am completely melted into the cyber world of Silver Isle.
Well, obviously, I am really enjoying, that means I am not having any exam right now. Finished 12 out of 13 AS final examination papers day before yesterday, only 1 which is the Chemistry paper 2 remains, and we still have like around one week break to fool around while the A2 final examination candidates will be sitting for their papers. All the best, my friends!
That day right after our last Chemistry paper 1, we felt really relieved after so many days stress (actually not that severe) and together decided to reward ourselves with an exciting battle of Counter Strike. I didn't play well as usual as I'm still very new to it, and moreover I wasn't concentrating due to my worries over my totally screwed up papers. Denny (hello kitty), Alan (alan =)), Pang Han (han), Chin Horng (pang han), Yao Kuang (oli), Geowin (king), Soon Sin (sinbad), Kai Zun (zunnie), Ying Lee (ai chan), Christine (earthworm), Stephanie (pig) and me (uu guai)... Bwahahaha, you guys rock big time with the ultimate shooting and bombing effects, and not to forget the super high pitch screaming voice.
Later on after playing for like around 2 hours, we all were exhausted and tired (of course lar, die so many times wor, kekeke). The rest of the gang went on with their own activities, while 5 of us (Yao Kuang, Geowin, Christine, Stephanie and me) decided to go catch the latest movie on screen at Mid Valley, X-Men 3: The Last Stand. Before that, had a nasi lemak set lunch at Cabanna Cafe with Geowin. The movie was really a nice cool one, it's definitely worth checking it out at the cinema. I'm not a movie critic or whatever it is, and I did not follow the comic nor the first or second part, so when I feel that it's nice, then I will recommend, that's all. A very great combination of action and romance overall, I specially love the last part towards the ending which I don't think it's a good idea to reveal the story here when many of my friends still haven't watch it yet.
Then, walk and shop around, bla bla bla, fast forwarded, and had dumpling pig rice as dinner. Don't really know what is that, they kept telling me that it's a baby pig, I was like okey whatever, price is quite expensive and the taste is only so so. Geowin left us after that, and 4 of us continued our journey, this time with me as the main character. Why? Nothing much. Cause mainly me shopping in Jusco for cute cute stuffs like curtains, pillow, bedsheet and comforter. Thanks much to them for giving me useful advice here and there and making me very proud of my cute cute choice. Kekeke. And again, yes you are right, I'm moving soon after my coming holiday, introducing my *blardy hell* roomie Sandra the anchor, big applause and rotten eggs please.
Shops and malls closing, legs and back aching, that means finished shopping and it's time to go back home. We waited in a very long queue before getting a taxi and reached their home safely (they are housemates). There they ate durians which they've just bought from Carrefour, eww, it's not that I really dislike it, but, I just don't feel like eating it during these recent years, it used to be my favourite when I was young. And then it's the opening ceremony of Christine's fishy: dau dau, piggy, oli, wu wu and sotsie. Damn crazy, 4 of us turning insane.
After that, we talked crap and I too played Need For Speed using Stephanie's laptop. Got bored very fast and we started planning how are we going to spend our short exam break and day after our last paper. There are gonna be movies and series and dramas for this week since Stephanie injured her leg and can't really walk much. The most exciting discussion was plan for the day after our last paper of course. First thing comes first right after our paper at 10:15 AM, I have to rush back home to empty my room, pack up all my stuffs and move them to my new house living room, with the help of my very best friend Hwei Whei. And later it's shopping time at Lowyat, I'm aiming for an external harddisk, plug earphone and webcam, also to repair my poor little network walkman. If I still have the time, I wanna go check out Bentley Music and KL Plaza too. And dinner time will be the best time to enjoy at Jalan Ipoh, I've never been there before yet seriously.
Okey lar I think that's all for this time. Guess this is one of the longest personal entry in my blog so far. Hope you guys won't find it long winded and boring. Oh yea, just received sms from Wan Yi regarding the result of national level First Aid & Homenursing Competition. If you are interested, you can check out the result here under my post #243. Taylor's College Musical Night 2006: Sounds of the Ocean~
Everything ended on the 29th of April, Saturday, roughly around 12:00 AM. Words were unable to describe my level of tiredness at that very moment when the Multi-Purpose Hall was left only with garbages and loneliness. I was half dead and I didn't even realise my stomach was totally empty for nearly 48 hours until my dear reminded me. I felt totally relieved when the event is over but still currently cracking my head on how to cover back the money in my bank account before things get worse.
And now, only one week left for me to prepare for my AS final examinations...
